We started out in 2000 providing Dry Utility, Wet Utility and SWPPP services and have since expanded to hydrovac work, sewer collection systems cleaning, sewer line videoing, manhole rehabilitation, demolition and shotcrete work.
Our passion is building employees to leave a lasting legacy in Underground Utilities.

It all started over 25 years ago...
… with two men and an asphalt truck.
Auza Contracting began in October of 2000. In December of that year, Dave Auza started performing asphalt repair work with one other employee. The company had a Dump Truck, Skip Loader and a Roller.
In late January of 2001, Auza was awarded our first Dry Utility project for WESTCOR at the Chandler Fashion Center. The project consisted of 1000’ of trench in front of what is now the Harkins Theater. In February, Auza bid and was awarded the rest of the dry utilities for the Mall. That contract turned into a little more than $1,000,000, also helped us grow up to 15 employees at that time.
Soon after that project got going, Auza started doing water and sewer repair work for Community Southwest, as well as residential dry utilities. By mid-year 2001, we had reached over 20 employees. Auza has continued our momentum with now over 70 employees and providing a diverse range of services to our clients.
